Former Red Sox Lou Merloni has joined CSN New England as a baseball analyst and reporter. Merloni will appear on the station's talk show Sports Tonight hosted by Mike Felger and Gary Tanguay. Merloni played for the Red Sox from 1998-2003. He retired in 2006. In 2008 Merloni joined NESN as analyst for pre-game and post-game shows for the Red Sox. After the 2008 season ended Merloni decided to leave NESN and joined CSN. Me...

Boston College recently fired football head coach Jeff Jagodzinski after he interviewed to be the head coach of the Jets. Boston College Athletic Director Gene DeFilippo wanted to have a head coach that would stay with the football program for the time of his contract. 89 year-old Johnny Pesky has worked in the Red Sox organization for more than 60 years. He was a player, coach, 2-time manager, and instructor for the Red Sox. He has done so much for the Red Sox that he was rewarded for his hard work by having his number 6 retired by the Red Sox last season.
